If you're unsure about your company's sustainability policies or commitments, you can still provide valuable feedback by following these guidelines:

Tell us you don’t know:

• If you are unsure about whether your company has sustainability commitments or policies in place, acknowledging this in your review can be helpful to the company and job seekers.
• Companies want to know their sustainability commitments are communicated effectively to their employees. Your feedback can help them improve internal communication and transparency.
• Explain that you're providing feedback based on your perspective as an employee who may not have access to information about the company's sustainability efforts.

Provide general feedback:

• Your company may not have specific sustainability policies. However, you can provide feedback about your experience of the company’s treatment of its employees’ mental, emotional, and physical health.
• Similarly, you can provide feedback on your experience of the company’s leadership, communication, work-life balance, and career development. This feedback can be helpful to job seekers.

Ask questions:

• Use your review as an opportunity to ask questions about whether the company has sustainability commitments or not.
• Invite your employer to engage in a dialogue about its approach to sustainability. This might include sharing updates or information with employees.

This could be the company’s approach to environmental sustainability. It could be the company’s approach to human sustainability. It could be both.

The company or organisation may exist purely to advance sustainability. Its purpose, mandate, and reason for being revolve entirely around sustainability.
